| Mariska is our Friesian Ster Mare out of the Preferent Stallion, Oege! She arrived April 2nd, 2005 from the Netherlands. We are amazed at how well she has adjusted (even with the language barrier). She is both breathtaking and affectionate. Mariska's sire, Oege, has more living approved sons than any other stallion, thus his prestigous Preferent title. He is also known as the "hair man", as he passes on an incredible hair gene that accounts for many long manes and tails. Mariska is blessed with the hair, build, and movement. She is half-sister to Anton, who was the #1 sire for the 2003 Breeding Index. Her action is high, uphill and effortless. Mariska's pedigree includes 8 Model-Model Preferents in 4 generations!!
