| We witnessed the arrival of Ulderijk on April 3rd, 2006! It was an easy birth for his gorgeous dam, Mariska, our Ster mare, who is half-sister to the incredible stallion, Anton. Ulderijk is a wonderful, friendly, Friesian colt with a phenomenal pedigree. His mother, Mariska, is sired by the FAMOUS Oege Preferent, one of our favorite stallions of all time, who passes on extremely long manes, tails, and beautiful heads to his offspring. Ulderijk's sire is the outstanding, GOFFERT 369! Goffert is approved on offspring, and is excelling in Dressage. He is competing at Grand Prix level, with scores of 68% and above. He is one of the few Friesian stallions that have made it to this level. Ulderijk will be a perfect dressage/sport prospect with long, strong legs, and nice length of back. He has an unbelievably sweet, friendly character and LOVES attention. He has stolen our hearts!!! Ulderijk has had a great start and will have a VERY bright future!!!! He received a 1st Premie Reserve Champion at keuring last September. Ulderijk was the only Goffert colt in the US, to receive a 1st Premie in 2006! He is the perfect Stallion prospect to carry on the Goffert lineage. *We are saddened to learn of the passing of Goffert 369, on February 13th, due to Colic. He was a magnificant Stallion that will be greatly missed by all. ....I have decided to make 'Ricky' a permanent addition! But...Mariska has produced another perfect Goffert colt (Andric) born June 9th, 2008...he IS for sale!!!! |
